- We don’t tolerate any kind of discrimination against any person, population group, organisation based on race, color, religion, sex, gender expression, physical appearance, language, education background, national origin, age or disability.
- Be excellent to each other.
Tino Rangatiratanga (use of individual and collective resources for the benefit of all)
- We share tools, knowledge and expertise so that we and others may grow.
- We find ways to make things for and with other people.
- TAP lab tools/resources must stay on the premises so that other members may use them, unless they are part of the tool library or express permission is given by a member of the executive.
Kaitiakitanga (Guardianship of community and resources)
- Don’t be on fire; don’t cause others to be in fire.
- Clean, Maintain, Organize, Improve. We always leave the space better than we found it.
- We carefully consider our use of materials: avoid landfill; act ethically; upcycle; reduce, reuse, recycle.
- Safety is important, if you are unsure of how to safely do something, ask someone to show you how to do it.
